1976 Gitane “Tour de L’Aviner” Gold
Eroica Ready!!
£395
Life on Vintage wheels are delighted to offer this iconic 1976 Gitane “Tour de L’Aviner” race bike finished with the beautiful revered Huret honeycomb rear dropouts and built from Reynolds 531, this lovely French classic is a stunner! Most of the original components are in place with just a few considered changes made by the previous owner. The wheelset has been improved with the addition of quality Shimano hubs and “Super Champion” Rims built up with Stainless steel spokes. The front derailleur has also been upgraded to a bombproof Suntour, other than that she’s pretty original. The bike has some scratches commensurate with use and age but generally can be described as in excellent condition, all in all a wonderful bike with fantastic Patina!
Please feel free to come and view the bike or contact us should you wish to discuss the bike (or anything else), we are open Mon to Sat - 10am to 6pm 01352 715716.
